March 2025

They were ON FIRE! Set up to win both divisions with two first places

🥇🥇 in their 1.10M as well as a

first 🥇 and a third 🥉 in their 1.20M!!!

Then they had to scratch their final classic division Grand Prix classes after we noticed something was off with Havoc in the warm up ring. Turned out he has an abscess in his back foot. It stung to have to pull out of the competition but it was awesome to see first hand how strong a team they have become.

Get better Havoc! #WECohio

May 2025

The Kentucky Spring show was about overcoming and learning.  Havoc was refusing from the first ride in, letting us know he wasn't 100% himself.  Long show days that don’t go according to plan feel extremely unrewarding and require that bit of extra mental power to plow through. Proud of our team! And hey! We survived another tornado coming through🌪️

June 2025

The Dave Dorner’s Clinic at H&H Stables was as incredible as we hoped/expected it to be. Sam and Havoc had a blast sharing the 3 foot and up group in the ring with Dave & former barn mates and learned so much. Many thanks to David Dorner and Christine Duke for this enlightening weekend and to H&H Stables for the warm welcome onto their beautiful grounds… The rumor is there will be a next one so be on the lookout!

The Applejack, IN

The Applejack Show 🍎

at Canterbury Manor Stables in Zionsville, IN—hosted by the ever-dedicated and cherished figure in Indiana’s horse community- Sandra Brady! The annual event is named in honor of world-champion Diamond’s Applejack—a Canterbury homebred who once cleared an incredible 7 feet—this show is a summer favorite in Indiana’s horse world.

This year, Samuelle rode Smoochie (a 4-year-old Hanoverian) for the first time as trainer Emily Farmer tested her new boy’s range and scope. And guess what? They tied for second place! 🥈

    Invisible lead rope agreement

Havoc (Malacrianza) has been notoriously HARD TO CATCH from his pasture… Giving all involved much grief!

Sam and Havoc have organically come to a mutual agreement. It’s called the “invisible lead rope” agreement! No actual halter, no lead rope! He must agree to follow her willingly out of pasture. I feel quite privileged to witness this first hand as they work out the details of the agreement! #equalpartners
